My Story
To meet the challenge of parenting in an age where parental authority is being constantly challenged and the influence of the internet and social media in pervasive, Dr. Giladi has founded and directs the Parenthood Academy at the NCJW at the Hebrew University.
The Academy develops programs and strategies at the national and international levels to meet this challenge. Previously Dr. Giladi served as the General and Academic Director of Early Childhood Programs at the NCJW Research Institute for Innovation in Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, as well as a Professional member and Academic Advisor at JDC-Joint, Israel and was also the National HIPPY Director in Israel.
Dr. Giladi is also a pioneer and recognized expert on the abuse of young children in Israel, including strategies for preventing abuse, family and community interventions and addressing adverse such challenges such as teachers, parents, children and school management.
She is the author of the book, Sexual Harassment: Not a Children’s’ Game – Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Educational System and the Community.
Dr. Giladi has holds a doctorate in sociology education from ARU University, England and bachelors and master degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
